Description
A cozy and festive 5-ingredient drink combining apple cider, vanilla ice cream, and caramel sauce for a sweet and creamy fall treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups (480 ml) apple cider, fresh and unfiltered preferred
- 2 generous scoops (about 1/2 cup or 120 ml) vanilla ice cream
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) whipped cream (optional, for topping)
- Pinch of cinnamon (for garnish)
Instructions
- Chill your apple cider (optional but recommended).
- Scoop two generous scoops of vanilla ice cream into a large glass or mug and let it soften for 2 minutes.
- Pour the apple cider slowly over the ice cream to create a fizzing float effect.
- Drizzle caramel sauce generously over the top and inside the glass if desired.
- Add a dollop of whipped cream if using, then sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top.
- Serve immediately with a spoon and straw to enjoy the fizzy, creamy layers before the ice cream melts.
Notes
For best results, use fresh, chilled apple cider and warm caramel sauce slightly before drizzling to keep it flowing smoothly. Pour cider slowly to avoid overflow. Let ice cream soften a bit before assembling. For a boozy twist, add 1 ounce of spiced rum, bourbon, or apple brandy per serving.
