Description
These quick and easy keto sausage balls are made with just a few pantry staples like spicy sausage, cheddar cheese, and almond flour. They are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfect for game day or a fast weeknight dinner.

Scale
- 1 pound spicy Italian sausage
- 1 cup blanched almond flour
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste

- In a large bowl, combine the raw sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and beaten egg. Mix until well combined.
- Add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients and mix just until combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1.5 tablespoons each) and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving an inch of space between each.
- Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy results, broil for the last 1-2 minutes. You can freeze the raw balls on a baking sheet and then transfer to a bag for later use; bake from frozen adding 2-3 minutes to cook time. Ensure sausage is sugar-free for strict keto.
