Description
A quick, refreshing, and healthy smoothie made with just five simple ingredients. Perfect for busy weeknights, this hydrating drink is kid-approved and easy to customize.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled (about 150g)
- 2 cups watermelon, cubed and seedless (about 300g)
- ½ cup orange juice (120ml)
- ½ cup Greek yogurt, plain or vanilla (120g)
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse strawberries and hull them. Cube the watermelon into bite-sized pieces, removing any seeds.
- In a blender, combine strawberries, watermelon, and orange juice. Pulse a few times to break down the fruit.
- Add Greek yogurt and honey (if using). Blend on high until smooth and creamy. Add more orange juice or ice cubes if needed to adjust thickness.
- Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired. Thin with juice or water if too thick. Add ice cubes for a colder smoothie and blend again.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
Notes
Use frozen fruit or add ice cubes to chill without watering down the smoothie. Adjust sweetness carefully as fruit sweetness varies. Greek yogurt adds protein and creaminess; swap with dairy-free yogurt for a dairy-free option. Blend in stages to avoid blender jams. Add fresh mint for a refreshing twist.
